TVNZ
A Crown Owned Company, TVNZ is charged with operating a commercially successful TV business, acting with social responsibility in the provision of quality services. Of particular importance is the provision of TV programmes which reflect and foster New Zealand's identity and culture, and which are in the overall national interest. TVNZ broadcasts on two nationwide channels and has a significant web presence. Local and international acitivities include programme production, outside broadcasting services, multimedia development, merchandising, Teletext, signal distribution and programming supply.
