Top Programmes Analysis (2009)

These lists of top programmes for each of the free to air channels have been prepared using the target audience for each channel as the base audience. This is the age group or demographic that the channel is specifically aiming to reach with its programming.

They are:

TV ONE: 25-54
TV2: 18-39
3: 18-49
C4: 15-39
Maori Television Service: - Maori 5+

The audience reach numbers are expressed in thousands of people. The programmes are averaged together where there is a series, and so some episodes of the series would have been considerably higher in their ratings.
